PRIZE CATEGORIES are as follows:
First prize: $3000

Peoples choice: $500
First and second prize winners will have the opportunity to hold a joint exhibition at Summer and Grace Gallery.
Theme is H2o-Scapes. Waterscapes or water subject matter of any kind. For example, oceans, lakes, pools, or even puddles. Artwork can be in any style. For example, realism, abstract, expressionist, still life, figurative etc.
Deadline for submissions: March 31st, 2023 by 12:00am.
Our goal is to accept artist submissions from every province and territory in Canada.
Professional Jurors:
Rayne Tunley
Rayne Tunley, honours graduate from the Ontario College of Art & Design (AOCAD), studied at the Banff School of Fine Art, Three Schools, and is an elected member of the Ontario Society of Artists, Society of Canadian Artists and the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour and was honoured to be inducted as a Life- Member in 2021.
Rayne has extensive experience serving as a juror for numerous art societies and organizations.
Peter Marsh
Artist Peter Marsh has been painting for 65 years and is a past president of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour 2009-11. Peter has acted as a juror for numerous exhibitions, and is a former Art Director of Wexford Collegiate School For The Arts, 1972-98. He continues with his award winning painting and also sits as the President of The Existential Art Gallery of Scarborough 2018-23, a virtual gallery more commonly known as “Gallery X”.
ENTRY SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Submission pieces can range in size up to a maximum of 1200 square inches. For example 36×36′, 60×20′ maximum
2. Artists may submit up to two works of art. $30 entry fee for one piece, $45 for two.
3. Acrylics, oil and mixed media painting on canvas or panel accepted. At this time, we are unable to accommodate sculpture, photography, or any piece that requires a glass covering.
4. All works need to be hang-ready. Framing is optional and is not included in dimension maximum.
5. Price of work is at artists discretion.
6. Deadline to submit is March 31st, 2023 by 12:00am. Artist will be notified of acceptance within 7 business of the deadline.
7. Chosen works to be delivered to gallery no later than April 27th, 2023

8. Preview Sale and Awards Night will be on May 4th, 2023 at The Oakville Club, Oakville, ON. with the show continuing at Summer & Grace Gallery until May 28th.
9. All shipping (other than sold works) will be at the expense of the artist.
10.Artists will label each piece of work with name, size, title, price, and medium.
11.Artist must provided email for payment, their tax number (if applicable) and the tax percentage in their home province.
12. Artist will receive 50% commission of all artworks sold in the show.
13. ALL ARTWORKS MUST BE ORIGINALS
