Teri Wing

While I enjoy painting landscapes and still life, I love painting the figure. We all relate to human emotions and experiences, it's universal. I use figures to express how I feel or what I want to say, using colour, texture and mood to convey this..no mater the subject. Dramatic lighting is what excites and inspires me to paint. I prefer my paintings to be contemplative, mysterious, and a bit melancholy. I strive for all my art to be beautiful, thought provoking and timeless.

I have no technical art background but self-teach with independant study or research of old masters, books, galleries and museums.
I prefer to use a limited colour palette, palette knife or flat brushes for impressionism and bold strokes.
