A son of German immigrants, Norman Buses was born and raised in Toronto. Inspired by the work of his artist grandfather, Norman decided to pursue his studies in Fine Art at the University of Guelph.
After receiving his B.A. and B.Ed, he taught Art, English and Photography at a local high school for thirty years.
