Lately what has sparked joy in her art are still life pieces with an emphasis on bold perspective, whimsical shapes and shadows.
Lorraine’s love of painting has been lifelong. She graduated from Ottawa University with an Honours Degree in Art History and Theory and over the years has taken courses with numerous Canadian artists. She has lived in Oakville for the past 30 years and has been a member of that town's Waterside Art Group since its inception. In past years she explored landscape in a stylized approach.
